A Ratatouille Controversy Already?

Despite its box-office success, the slightly quieter than expected results along with mixed critical reaction to “Cars” has Disney concerned about how to properly market this year’s Pixar effort “Ratatouille”.

Not helping of course was the glut of bad CG animated films this past year which saw the once seemingly infallible genre get slugged by several big budget flops.

A studio insider told Jim Hill Media that because “Cars” didn’t rack up ‘Finding Nemo’ and ‘The Incredibles’ -sized grosses, doubts about how to market the film have had a trickle-down effect on “Ratatouille”.

Now it seems the studio is “trying to decide who exactly they should be marketing this Brad Bird movie to” says the insider.
