“Ben 10” creators Joe Casey, Joe Kelly, Duncan Rouleau and Steven T. Seagle are set to create, write and executive produce a new TV series based on Capcom’s iconic video game “Mega Man” for Dentsu Entertainment. The project has yet to be set up at a network.
The group are developing a new twenty-six episode series which follows in the wake of the mid-1990s syndicated animated series, and the 130 video games that have been produced about the blue robot character and his allies since 1987.
The aim is to launch the new Mega Man series in 2017 in time for the franchise’s 30th anniversary. The Mega Man characters recently appeared in Disney/Marvel’s Oscar-winning “Big Hero 6” film.
