A Dance Dance Revolution Movie Is Happening

Production company Stampede Ventures, which is run by former Warner Bros. executive Greg Silverman, has reportedly begun developing a film based on the interactive game “Dance Dance Revolution”.

The story will be set in a world on the brink of destruction where the only hope is to unite through the universal language of dance. Apparently it’s not a satire.

J. Todd Harris and Marc Marcum of Branded Entertainment and the game’s IP owner Konami will team on the film with the announcement coming twenty years after the game first launched in Japan.
