6000 Manga Becomes A Deep Sea Thriller

Veteran producer Mike Medavoy (“Black Swan,” “Shutter Island”) and All Nippon Entertainment Works are teaming up to produce a film adaptation of the horror manga “6000”.

The story is set in a deep sea research facility six kilometres beneath the ocean surface. Three years earlier a mysterious disaster killed the crew and closed the station, and now a new team is sent down to restart things back up.

As the work begins in the claustrophobic environment, tension and paranoia builds while another danger is out there lurking in the depths.
