The front-loaded Comic-Con this year for panels means Sunday is pretty much barren short of some good genre TV panels.
Looking at the final schedule now, the “Avatar” and “Iron Man 2” panels seem to be the MUST ATTEND presentations this year. Disney, Warners and Summit also have strong showings in Hall H on Thursday and Friday.
10:00-11:00am: “Doctor Who”
Departing star David Tennant gives a rare appearance alongside writer/executive producer Russell T Davies, director Euros Lyn, and executive producer Julie Gardner premiere exclusive clips and have a Q&A session. Ballroom 20.
Callum Blue, Allison Mack, Erica Durance, Justin Hartley and Cassidy Freeman along with the showrunners are on hand to premiere exclusive clips and talk about the upcoming ninth season. Room 6BCF.
The show runners and actors Misha Collins and Jim Beaver will present an exclusive sneak peek at footage from the fifth season premiere and give a Q&A session. Room 6BCF.
12:30-1:00pm: “Mystery Team”
The cast and crew from the anticipated indie geek comedy will show off a short film and give a Q&A. Ballroom 20.
1:00-1:30pm: “Paper Heart”
– Despite professing a belief that she’s incapable of love, comedian and actress Charlyne Yi finds herself falling for “Michael Cera,” played by Michael Cera, in this intoxicating mix of documentary, improvisation, and romance. 2:15-3:45pm: “Being Human” and “Torchwood”
John Barrowman, Russell Tovey, Lenora Crichlow, Aidan Turner along with showrunners Russell T Davies, Julie Gardner, Euros Lyn and Toby Whithouse will talk about the making of the British cult sci-fi series “Being Human” and the “Doctor Who” spin-off “Torchwood” and its recent ‘Children of Earth’ mini-series success.
