Plot: A retelling of John Carpenter's 70s classic, the action in this new version of "Assault on Precinct 13" ignites in the present day in an about-to-be closed police precinct building. During a snowy New Year's Eve, a most-wanted mobster, Nicholas Zambrano (Fishburne), is temporarily incarcerated at the doomed Precinct 13 - and the address received renewed, unwanted attention from all sides of the law. As the sun sets and a long night begins, a motley crew of policemen and prisoners, reluctantly captained by cop Jake Roenick (Hawke), must band together to fight off a rogue gang that wants to extract Zambrano at any cost.
