Plot: Remake of the 1979 horror classic. George and Kathy Lutz along with their children moved into a house in the legendary Amityville, New York. You could have said it was their dream home. Especially if their dreams were nightmares. One year earlier, Ronald DeFeo brutally murdered his parents with a .35 caliber as they slept calmy in their beds. The Lutz family only lasted twenty eight days in their home after they were terrorized by the spirits of Ronald DeFeo's parents, and the ghosts of an indian burial ground, which the house was supposedly built on. Based on the true story of George and Kathy Lutz, the Amityville Horror remains one of the most horrifying haunted house stories ever told because of one small fac t- it actually happened.
