Scream 3 (February 4th) - Third & last film in the horror/comedy series. Sydney moves to Hollywood to start up an acting career, only to find someone is killing the crew involved in the movie which she has been cast in.
The Beach (February 11th) - An American sets off on an exotic adventure in Thailand in search of "The Beach," a legendary tropical paradise free of conventional society's problems. But when finding it, he learns that it hides a few disturbing secrets.
Pitch Black (February 18th) - A transport ship crashes on a remote planet. The survivors - a murderous criminal, a bodyguard, and a religious family attempt to cross the sun-scorched surface to find an escape route. But as darkness falls, the planet's indigenous life emerges.
The Whole Nine Yards (February 18th) - Black comedy. The husband in a newlywed couple begins to suspect their new next door neighbour may be an assassin, and surreptitiously tries to find the truth - and learns his wife may be involved somehow.
Reindeer Games (February 25th) - Directed by John Frankenheimer. A middle-aged con artist shares a jail cell with a young convict and soon tricks him into robbing a casino where he once worked during a past Christmas.
Mission to Mars (March 10th) - Directed by Brian DePalma. The first manned mission to Mars successfully arrives but mysteriously vanish after detecting a strange signal. A rescue mission is dispatched and soon the astronauts discover an even greater mystery.
Erin Brockovich (March 17th) - An atorney is helped by a research assistant in a defamation lawsuit against a large utility company whose claimed to be responsible for a cancer outbreak in the local community.
Final Destination (March 17th) - A group friends don't get on a flight after one has a premonition that it will crash - and it does. Now, someone starts killing those survivors one by one and the psychic kid tries to find out whose responsible before he dies as well.
American Psycho (April 14th) - Based on the controversial novel by Bret Easton Ellis. By day, Patrick Bateman is the toast of wall street. By night however, he gets his pleasure by torturing and killing young women - and placing their remains all over his apartment.
U-571 (April 21st) - The Atlantic Ocean 1942, and the greatest naval battle in history is underway. The crew of an American submarine attempt a risky operation to salvage a German U-571 boat, steal its Enigma coding device and survive the trip back home.
Frequency (April 28th) - A man in the present finds he can communicate with his dead firefighting father 30 years in the past via a homemade ham radio. The son then tries to save his father from dying in an accident which killed him when the son was just a baby.
Gladiator (May 5th) - Directed by Ridley Scott ("Alien", "Blade Runner"). Maximus, a trusted Centurion and potential heir to the Roman Empire is banished when the Emperor's son kills his father and takes over. Maximus soon returns to Rome as a gladiator to seek revenge.
Battlefield: Earth (May 12th) - Based on the novel by L. Ron Hubbard. In the future, the Earth has been devastated by a race of 10-foot tall aliens known as the Psychlos who have begun mining the planet. One survivor in Colorado emerges to find other tribes of survivors.
Dinosaur (May 19th) - A movie combining CG-animated chracters with live-action backgrounds. After a devastating meteor impact, a dinosaur is separated from his parents and raised by sloths in a jungle. Upon growing up, he begins a search to find his heritage.
Road Trip (May 19th) - When a young college student cheats on his long-time girlfriend, he accidentally mails the videotape evidence of his infidelity to her and begins a cross country journey with his friends to intercept the package before it arrives.
Mission: Impossible II (May 24th) - Sequel to the 1996 film adaption of the classic TV series. Ethan Hunt leads one of two IMF teams tracking down a criminal carrying a deadly virus, but one-by-one the members of each team are being killed off in various 'accidents'.
Shanghai Noon (May 26th) - A Chinese princess is kidnapped and so a member of the Imperial Guard rushes after her to America. There he teams up with a train robber to take on the traitor responsible and his powerful boss.
Big Momma's House (June 2nd) - When a street-smart FBI agent is sent to Georgia to protect a beautiful single mother and her son from an escaped convict, he is forced to impersonate a crass Southern granny known as Big Momma in order to remain incognito.
Gone in Sixty Seconds (June 9th) - A group of thieves about to retire plot one last heist - to steal a batch of fifty cars from a secure lot in order to help out their leader's brother. The trouble is, another gang of thieves has their sights on the same prize.
Shaft (June 16th) - Remake of the 60's blaxploitation movie. A tough-talking private detective "whose the sex machine with all the chicks", is hired by a Harlem mob boss to find his kidnapped daughter and make those responsible pay.
Chicken Run (June 23rd) - Claymation feature from the creator of "Wallace & Gromit". In 1950's Yorkshire, two chickens on a poultry farm start to suspect their fate and decide to try and escape before they end up on the chopping block
Me, Myself & Irene (June 23rd) - From the Farrelly brothers ("There's Something About Mary"). The two different personalities of a schizophrenic Rhode Island trooper (one an innocent nice guy, the other a devilish womaniser) fall for the same woman named Irene.
The Patriot (June 28th) - Directed & Produced by Roland Emmerich and Dean Devlin ("Independence Day"). A pacifist becomes a reluctant fighter and eventually a hero in the American Revolutionary War.
The Perfect Storm (June 30th) - Directed by Wolfgang Petersen ("Air Force One") and based on the true story of the 'Andrea Gail', a ship which was lost at sea with all hands during a freak tropical storm earlier this century.
Scary Movie (July 7th) - A spoof of the horror film genre about a killer stalking high school students with satires of such flicks as "Scream", "Halloween", "I Know What You Did Last Summer", "The Blair Witch Project" and "The Sixth Sense".
X-Men (July 14th) - Film adaptation of the comic book series. All over the world, a group of children are born with various mutations in their DNA giving them superhuman abilities. Some have teamed together in order to stop the evil Magneto and his allies.
What Lies Beneath (July 21st) - Directed by Robert Zemeckis ("Forrest Gump"). A college professor and his beautiful wife become caught in a murder mystery with supernatural elements that somehow involves the past owners of their new idyllic lakeside house.
Nutty II: The Klumps (July 28th) - Sequel to the Eddie Murphy 1996 remake of the classic Jerry Lewis film. The newly engaged Prof. Klump develops a formula which provides eternal youth but his alter ego Buddy Love has other plans for it.
Coyote Ugly (August 4th) - Produced by Jerry Bruckheimer. A girl heads to New York City to pursue her dream of becoming a songwriter and gets a day job as a waitress at the 'Coyote Ugly' nightclub where the female employees tease all the patrons.
Hollow Man (August 4th) - Directed by Paul Verhoeven ("Total Recall", "Robocop"). Three scientists have made a discovery - the ability to turn a person invisible. One of them tests it on himself and it works, but it has an unexpected side effect - it turns him insane.
Space Cowboys (August 4th) - A failing 1960's satellite poses a great threat to millions so a group of veteran astronauts and air force pilots are rushed through standard training to go on a daring mission back into space and repair it.
The Cell (August 18th) - A child therapist involved in a breakthrough research program who is asked to journey inside the mind of comatose serial killer in the hope of saving his latest victim, while an FBI agent must hurry to uncover clues to locate the missing girl.
Highlander: Endgame (September 1st) - Fourth film in the "Highlander" series. Two immortal brothers team up for the first time ever to take on the ultimate force of evil - a team of ruthless immortals set out on a quest to win the game at any cost.
The Watcher (September 8th) - A burned out FBI agent heads to Chicago to begin a new life. Trouble is a few months later several murders take place that could only have been done by his nemesis David Allen Griffin who begins a game of cat and mouse with the agent.
Almost Famous (September 15th) - Written & Directed by Cameron Crowe ("Jerry Maguire"). In 1973, a young music fan lands a writing assignment for 'Rolling Stone' to go on a junket with an upcoming band. What he learns along the journey will change his life.
Urban Legends: Final Cut (September 22nd) - College student Amy decides that the subject of her thesis film will be those contemporary tall tales known as urban legends, one-by-one her crew members fall prey to fatal 'accidents' during filming.
Remember the Titans (September 29th) - Based on a true story. In a 1970's Virginian High School, an African-American football coach fights prejudice and judgements to lead a group of mismatched students into a winning team.
The Broken Hearts Club (September 29th) - Think "The Big Chill" with a twist - Dennis is a promising gay West Hollywood photographer who is about to turn 28 and thinks about his life and friends as reliable and exasperating as they may be.
Meet the Parents (October 6th) - Everything that could possibly go wrong for groom-to-be Greg Focker does. The problems begin with greg's disastrous first meeting with his girlfriend's family - most notably her intimidating father Jack Byrnes.
Tigerland (October 6th) - In 1971, a group of young men in the final stage of military training await in fear and eagerness to join the combat in the Vietnam war. Then one man joins te recruits, a man desperate to get out and who soon divides all.

Charlie's Angels (November 3rd) - Based on the classic 70's TV series. Three female detectives fresh out of the academy are hired by the reclusive millionaire Charlie to handle special investigative assignments - including a criminal mastermind intent on murdering him.
Little Nicky (November 10th) - One of Satan's wayward sons runs away from Hell because his father is pressuring him too hard to takeover the family business. So, one of his brothers follows him to New York to bring him back.
Red Planet (November 10th) - A manned mission to Mars suffers a catastrophe when an accident kills all the astornauts on the surface bar one. The survivor must figure out how to stay alive while the shuttle pilot must decide whether to go for help or attempt a rescue.
Bounce (November 17th) - A man swaps his airline ticket with a stranger whose need to get home is more urgent, but unfortunately never arrives as the plane the stranger got on crashed. Now the man is racked with guilt and visits the stranger's widow, only to fall in love with her.
The Grinch (November 17th) - Ron Howard's live-action version of the Dr. Seuss book "How The Grinch Stole Christmas". On Christmas Eve, an insidious creature dresses up as Santa Claus and goes around the town of Whosville stealing the various presents left for kids.
The Sixth Day (November 17th) - A Directed by Roger Spottiswoode ("Tomorrow Never Dies"). An average man comes home from work one day only to find himself replaced by a clone, while a group of assassins try to hunt him to protect their secret.
Unbreakable (November 22nd) - A man wakes up in hospital to discover he is the sole survivor of a major train disaster - not only that, he doesn't have a single scratch on him. His only help? A man with an unusual bone condition who seems to know his fate.
Dungeons & Dragons (December 8th) - Based on the famous role-playing game. In an ancient time, a group of various warriors, thieves, and wizards team up to fight off an evil sorcerer and his dragons from a dangerous attempt to takeover the lands.
Proof of Life (December 8th) - When an American engineer is captured by rebel forces in Latin America, his company refuse to pay the ransom forcing his wife to deal with the matter on her own - hiring a freelance hostage negotiator to aide her.
Vertical Limit (December 8th) - A young and ambitious mountain climber becomes estranged from his sister after their father's death. Three years later and an expedition become trapped on K2, and he must attempt a daring rescue.
The Emperor's New Groove (December 15th) - Inca Prince Manco is slowly sending his country broke and soon an evil sorceress plans to takeover the empire by poisoning Manco - only to accidentally turn him into a llama which she dumps in the countryside.
What Women Want (December 15th) - After barely surviving a near death accident, a man soon discovers the incident has given him a startling new ability - to read women's minds and find out the secrets men have only dreamed of.
The Gift (Ltd: December 20th) - Directed by Sam Raimi ("Evil Dead", "Spider-Man"). When a young woman disappears without a trace, another woman with extrasensory perception is asked to help the manhunt trying to trace her whereabouts.
Cast Away (December 22nd) - Directed by Robert Zemeckis ("Forrest Gump"). An enigmatic millionaire whose estranged from his wife, soon finds himself stranded on a desert island and must learn how to survive with what tools are handy.
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (December 22nd) - From Director Ang Lee ("The Ice Storm"). During the Ching Dynasty, two fighting women from different backgrounds find their lives intertwine to merge in a shocking showdown.
O Brother, Where Art Thou? (Ltd: December 22nd) From the Coen brothers ("Fargo"). In 1930's Mississippi, three conmen escape from a chain gang and attempt to elude the marshals and officers sent out to find and hunt them down.
Thirteen Days (Ltd: December 25th) - A film about how JFK and the White House staffed reacted during the almost two week long Cuban Missile Crisis incident in 1962 which brought the world the closest its ever been to the brink of World War III.
Traffic (Ltd: December 27th) - Directed by Steven Soderbergh. This looks at the lives of various people linked to America's rising war on drugs - from the US's big anti-drug Czar to the wife of a jailed cartel owner determined to takeover his business.
Shadow of the Vampire (Ltd: December 29th) - In the early 1920's came the creation of the vampire film "Nosferatu", one of the cornerstone efforts of early cinema. this is the story behind its creation, and the lead actor who really got into his role. |
