Hard Rain (January 16th) - During a torrential rainstorm, a young cop foils an armored car robbery and escapes on foot with the money. Pursued into a flooded nearby small town, everyone seems to be in on the heist and tries to kill him.

Phantoms (January 23rd) - Based on the Dean Koontz novel. Returning to their hometown, two sisters find all the citizens have been killed. As scientists descend on the town, the girls, the sheriff and a doctor try find the creature responsible.

Deep Rising (January 30th) - A gang of thieves board a massive and adrift luxury liner in the South China Sea to discover the passengers have been slaughtered. It soon becomes all to apparent what killed them, and they must find a way to get to land.

Sphere (February 13th) - Based on the Michael Crichton novel. A team is assembled to investigate a futuristic spacecraft that has been buried for 300 years on the sea floor, a spacecraft carrying a giant sphere of possibly alien origin.
Stars: Dustin Hoffman, Sharon Stone, Samuel L. Jackson

Dark City (February 27th) - Directed by Alex Proyas. A man wakes up in a strange city, and soon becomes pulled into a murder mystery which involves him and the dark-coated strangers who seem to be in control of everything and everyone.
Stars: Rufus Sewell, Kiefer Sutherland, William Hurt

U.S. Marshals (March 6th) - Sequel to "The Fugitive". US Marshal Sam Gerard, his team and a DEA agent are chasing after a supposed murderer whom seems to have amazing skills and whom may be innocent after all.
Stars: Tommy Lee Jones, Wesley Snipes, Robert Downey Jr.

Lost In Space (April 3rd) - Film version of the 60's sci-fi show. The Robinson family, Major West and Dr. Smith become lost in deep space and try to get back home. On the way they encounter metal eating spiders, and a planet lost in time.
Stars: William Hurt, Matt LeBlanc, Gary Oldman

Species 2 (April 10th) - A mission to Mars ends in disaster when a male astronaut becomes infected by the alien DNA. The remains of the first film's team has created a quieter Sil which they use to track down the man.

The Object of my Affection (April 17th) - A romantic drama about a female social worker who falls in love with her new roomate, however there's one small complication - he's gay. Can any strong relationship survive without the physical part?

The Big Hit (April 24th) - A quartet of hitmen kidnap the daughter of a millionaire in order to earn some easy money. Unfortunately the girl also happens to be their boss' goddaughter, and he's determined to find and kill those responsible.

Deep Impact (May 8th) - Follows the lives of a TV newscaster, a young boy and an astronaut veteran who each play a crucial part in the events surrounding the discovery and attempted neutralisation of a comet on a collision course with Earth.
Stars: Tea Leoni, Elijah Wood, Robert Duvall

The Quest for Camelot (May 15th) - Animated medieval epic. A young man, a woman and a two-headed dragon set out on a quest to find King Arthur's magical sword Excalibur before an evil knight with ambitions of his own gets his hands on it.
Stars (voices): Pierce Brosnan, Gary Oldman, Gabriel Byrne

Godzilla (May 22nd) - French nuclear tests in the Pacific have mutated an iguana into a gigantic monster which makes its way too New York City and causes all sorts of havoc. Can a nuclear scientist and a French secret service agent stop it?

The Truman Show (June 5th) - Through several 'strange accidents', Truman Burbank discovers his whole life is actually a high-rating TV program with the city a giant sound stage and the population merely actors in various roles.

A Perfect Murder (June 5th) - Re-make of "Dial M for Murder". A wealthy banker discovers his beautiful wife is cheating on him with a struggling young artist. He makes the unusual gesture of blackmailling him into killing her.

Six Days, Seven Nights (June 12th) - A magazine editor is forced to hitch a plane ride to Tahiti with a sexist, hard-drinking pilot. Caught in a storm, the two are forced down on a deserted island and are in for a major adventure.
Stars: Harrison Ford, Anne Heche, David Schwimmer

Mulan (June 19th) - Disney animated feature. A young Chinese girl poses as her father to serve in the Chinese army so she can fight off the invading Mongols and restore her family honor. Along the way she ends up trying to save the Emperor's life.
Stars: Ming-Na Wen, George Takei, Eddie Murphy

The X-Files: Fight the Future (June 19th) - Based on the TV series. FBI Agents Mulder & Scully investigate a bombing which leads them to evidence surrounding alien existence, whilst the conspirators have uncovered a scary new development.
Stars: David Duchovny, Gillian Anderson, Martin Landau

Armageddon (July 1st) - A meteor storm over New York & Paris signal the oncoming of a gigantic meteor just days from impacting with the Earth, and NASA's only option is to crack train a group of oil drillers to set off a bomb inside it.
Stars: Bruce Willis, Liv Tyler, Ben Affleck, Steve Buscemi

Lethal Weapon 4 (July 10th) - Riggs & Murtaugh and in more trouble than they bargained for when they're investigations into an illegal immigrant smuggling operation put them on the hit list of a dangerous Triad criminal determined to kill them.

The Mask of Zorro (July 17th) - A young man is chosen to succeed the cape from the elder Zorro, and in the process stop the old man's nemesis - the ex-Governor who kidnapped his daughter as a child years ago.

Saving Private Ryan (July 24th) - Directed by Steven Spielberg. When a paratrooper (whose three other brothers recently died) is lost behind enemy lines in WW2, a group of Allied soldiers must go deep into German territory and get him back.

BASEketball (July 31st) - From the Director of "The Naked Gun" and starring Trey Parker & Matt Stone - the creators of "South Park", comes this comedy about two friends who invent a sport which becomes a national obsession.

Halloween: H20 (August 5th) - 20 years after that fateful Halloween night in 1978, Laurie Strode has become a private school headmistress. However, her white-masked brother Michael Myers has found out where she is and a showdown is on.

Snake Eyes (August 7th) - A detective witnesses the Defense Secretary's assassination during a boxing match and must find out who was involved in the killing amongst the 15,000 potential suspects before a brewing hurricane strikes.

The Avengers (August 14th) - Movie version of the 60's TV action-spy series. British agents John Steed and Emma Peel must stop an evil millionaire who is holding the world hostage with a weather control device of immense power.

Blade (August 21st) - A half-vampire armed with hi-tech weaponry spends each and every night hunting the immortal creatures. He soon goes after the young and ambitious Deacon Frost who plans to unleash a 'vampire armageddon' on the world.

54 (August 28th) - In the 1970's, 'Studio 54' was THE nightclub. This is the story of 'Shane', a young man who's life is changed by three people from the club - a famous TV soap actress, a sexy wannabe singer, and the club's shady owner.

Urban Legend (September 25th) - We all know these modern tales of sinister folklore told around campfires. Now someone at a New England college is enacting them out on several students and one girl suspects the truth.

Antz (October 2nd) - A slightly neurotic ant is sick of not only his work, but his whole life. But a chance meeting with the colony's princess ends up with him accidentally kidnapping her and taking her along on his journey in the outside world.

What Dreams May Come (October 2nd) - When a loving husband dies in a car accident, he goes to heaven to find it a beautiful but lonely place. His wife is slipping into her own personal hell and he must take an incredible journey to find her.

Vampires (October 30th) - Directed by John Carpenter. Jack Crow leads a team of hi-tech vampire hunters who track down and rid the world of the fanged menace. But Valek, a Vampire Lord has discovered Crow's true identity and goes on the hunt.

The Siege (November 6th) - When terrorism threatens to overtake New York City, the President declares martial law on the district. An army general, an FBI agent and a CIA operative team up to find the various terrorist cells.

The Waterboy (November 6th) - The not-quite-bright water boy for a college football team becomes the new star player after the coach discovers that when he gets mad, he has an amazing ability to tackle people far bigger than himself.

I Still Know What You Did Last Summer (Nov. 13th) - Julie James is still trying to put the past behind her, and heads out on a holiday to the Bahamas with her friends. But the vacation is about to be cut short when the hook-carrying fisherman follows her.

Meet Joe Black (November 13th) - Remake of "Death takes a Holiday". Using the body of a deceased young man, 'Death' takes a vacation on Earth and asks a businessman to teach him about humans - what makes us what we are.

Enemy of the State (November 20th) - Produced by Jerry Bruckheimer. When the NSA begin constantly monitoring and threatening him for an unknown item they claim he has, a lawyer must seek the help of a CIA agent forced underground.

A Bug's Life (November 25th) - CG animated feature. A clumsy ant is fed up with grasshopper's stealing the colony's food and so goes out to find a group of 'warrior bugs' to stop them, but the best he finds are a group of flea circus performers.

Ringmaster (November 25th) - Based around "The Jerry Springer Show". Follows two groups of guests on the show - from their adulterous real-life romps, their arrival at the studio and the various behind-the-scenes conflics.

Psycho (December 4th) - A shot-for-shot remake of the Hitchcock thriller. A young woman with a bag of stolen money pulls over for the night at a small motel run by a nervous young man with a domineering mother who will kill to protect him.

Star Trek: Insurrection (December 11th) - Picard & The Enterprise crew end up fighting alongside the inhabitants of a small world when an evil alien captain & a corrupt Starfleet Admiral are determined to steal the planet's dangerous secret.

The Prince of Egypt (December 18th) - Biblical animated epic. Given up at birth, the Queen of Egypt discovers a baby named Moses and raises both him and her real son Rameses. Years later, Moses discovers the truth and confronts his brother.

You've Got Mail (December 18th) - Two co-workers absolutely hate each other and try to avoid each other as much as possible. But when they go home and log on their computers, both are unaware that their 'secret online love' is in fact each other.

The Faculty (December 25th) - From scribe Kevin Williamson ("Scream") and director Robert Rodriguez ("Desperado"). A group of students uncover that their teachers have been taken over by aliens and are attempting to colonise the town
