The Money Pit To Become A TV Series

NBC has begun development of “The Money Pit,” a series based on the 1986 Tom Hanks and Shelley Long-led comedy film.

The movie followed a couple tricked into buying a distress sale mansion that becomes the proverbial “money pit,” requiring endless repairs.

Amblin and Universal Television are producing the series which Justin Spitzer (“The Office”) will write and executive produce alongside Justin Falvey and Darryl Frank.
