20th Century Fox Animation and Blue Sky Studios have announced the voice cast for “Ice Age: Continental Drift”, the fourth entry in the franchise which has grossed over $4 billion in revenue across all media.
The usual cast of Ray Romano (Manny), John Leguizamo (Sid), Denis Leary (Diego), Queen Latifah (Ellie), Chris Wedge (Scrat), are back long with Seann William Scott and Josh Peck as possums Crash & Eddie.
Joining them are Jeremy Renner as ship captain Gutt, Wanda Sykes as Sid’s stowaway Granny, Aziz Ansari as the prehistoric rabbit Squint, Keke Palmer as Manny’s headstrong daughter Peaches, singer Drake as a handsome young mammoth and love interest for Peaches, and Jennifer Lopes as sabre-toothed tigeress Shira.
Heather Morris, Joy Behar, Nicki Minaj, Josh Gad, Alan Tudyk, Nick Frost, Kunal Nayyar, Alain Chabat and J.B. Smoove also have roles.
Steve Martino and Michael Thurmeier direct the 3D project which will hit theatres on July 13th 2012.
