Netflix has officially renewed its original supernatural series “Hemlock Grove” for a ten episode third season which will also be its last. Charles H. Eglee, who served as showrunner in the second season, will return along with executive producer Eli Roth.
“Hemlock Grove” launched to good numbers in June 2013, drawing more viewers in its opening weekend than Netflix’s flagship drama “House of Cards”. The second season of Hemlock Grove premiered this past July, and the third is expected to debut next Summer.
On the flip side of this news, TBS has cancelled Cee Lo Green’s unscripted series “The Good Life” which wrapped its first season six-episode run back in July. In fact the network has already has taken down its web page for the show hours after its cancellation.
The axe follows in the wake of star Cee Lo Green’s controversial, and since-deleted, tweets during the holiday weekend about rape.
