Lifetime doesn’t air its new telemovie adaptation of V.C. Andrews’ “Flowers in the Attic” until next weekend, but the network is already planning for the sequel.
Lifetime announced an adaptation of Andrews’ 1980 novel “Petals in the Wind” on Thursday during the Television Critics Association winter press tour.
Kayla Alpert, who adapted ‘Flowers,’ says the sequel is set ten years after the first film and is a very compelling revenge drama.
